Baramulla, Dec 01 (KNO): Braving cold, 90-year-old different abled woman on Tuesday cast her vote in Utikoo village of Kunzar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The old woman was helped by her son to reach the polling station set up near her house in a Government Middle School Utikoo.
While talking with KNO, Jana said that she has voted for a change and development in her areas.
“These elections are about local issues and that is the reason I came out to vote. We voted for the development of our village, as the successive representatives have failed to develop these areas,” she said.
Jana said that she has been casting her vote for many years, but unfortunately, all her votes went in vain she couldn't see development on the ground.
"We don't have schools, roads. There is an extreme water shortage in our village," she said. "So, I told my son that this is a golden time to elect right DDC candidate for our area"— (KNO)
